Rema graduated from the University of Exeter in 2019 where she obtained her LLM in International Human Rights Law after being awarded the Exeter Excellence Scholarship for her academic achievements. Rema was called to the Bar in 2014 and since then, has conducted trials in the county court, magistrates’ court and employment tribunal.
She speaks Arabic, French and Spanish and has volunteered with refugees in the Middle-East, interned for the UN in Geneva and spent time as a research assistant to members of the Bar and Supreme Court Judiciary in Australia. Rema is currently a Chartered Legal Executive and an Accredited Mediator and specialises in civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
