About the event
The Society's signature trip to the legendary birthplace of King Arthur. The castle also once belonged to the German emperor Richard of Cornwall in the 1200s. Transport provided by the society (hopefully saving time on public transport) and beautiful north coast scenery guaranteed!
For folks who aren't members of English Heritage, entrance fees and transport costs would normally cost £24.38. For Society members, the tickets on sale here (which include the transport) are £15.50, and for non-Society members, the trip would cost £18.00 (membership plus the tickets), thus saving at least £6.38 on the normal cost of a trip from Penryn to Tintagel Castle.
No knowledge of the Cornish language needed, just soak in the history and nature!
