    Bring back cash on campus

    Expired
Cash should be brought back as a payment option for places you can buy stuff

Why is it relevant to Falmouth & Exeter students?

There's a lot of places on campus where you can buy things but the fact that it's card-only locks a lot of people out of buying them, especially international students

What positive impact would it have?

Payment would become more accessible for all types of students, from international students to cash-conscious students who might prefer cash as a way to organise their finances, and gives people a choice

1:07pm on 12 Feb 26 This proposal went to discussion at Forum on the 29th January 2026 and was voted through as an Agreed Action. This means the SU officially supports this idea and will work towards it when possible but it's not one of our big 6 Union Priorities. It may be progressed alongside other work, raised in relevant meetings, or picked up as capacity allows.
