EcoSoc is one of the largest societies on campus, and aims to give everyone the opportunity to learn about nature, experience Cornish wildlife & gain skills in ecology and conservation.

EcoSoc is one of the largest societies on campus, and aims to give everyone the opportunity to learn about nature, experience Cornish wildlife, gain skills in ecology and conservation, help local projects and raise the profile of wildlife to everyone. We have lots of different events to get involved with, such as moth trapping, mammal trapping, bird walks, bat walks, ID sessions, habitat management and socials. We also work with outside organisations such as the National Trust to provide practical work experience for our members, and co-produce a wildlife documentary series filmed in Cornwall called NatureWatch with Wild Doc Soc which has been very successful!
