This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Advocacy team on a fixed-term basis, supporting student voice and academic representation across the University of Exeter’s Cornwall Campuses.
This role is all about ensuring students are heard and represented within their academic experience. As the Academic Representation Project Coordinator, you will work closely with student representatives, sabbatical officers, and university staff to coordinate departmental student voice activity and support meaningful partnership working that improves the student experience.
You will be responsible for coordinating aspects of academic representation activity, including action plan review meetings, maintaining student voice and representative records, and acting as a key contact point for student voice queries. You will also support the capture, analysis and reporting of feedback, helping to close feedback loops so students can see the impact of their voice.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent relationship-builder and communicator, confident working with both students and staff. You will be highly organised, comfortable managing administrative tasks such as maintaining records, producing reports, and supporting meetings. You will be proactive, collaborative, and motivated by making a positive difference to the student experience. A commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, and to student-led ways of working, is essential.
This post is a full-time position (35 hours per week), fixed-term for 6 months, funded via project funding from the University of Exeter. The role will be primarily based across the Penryn and Truro campuses, with on-campus working expected during term time. Working patterns will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.
Full requirements can be found in the Academic Representation Project Coordinator.
