Join the Student Voice Team

Falmouth and Exeter students’ union are looking for a passionate individual to join our ever-developing Student Voice Team. This is an exciting time to join Student Voice as we are undergoing a period of change and development with focus on a full review of our democratic processes and how we facilitate student voice. As Student Voice Coordinator you will be responsible for supporting Students’ Union elected full time and part time officers with research and insight from our student members and administration support for student lead council and committee meetings. Additionally, you will support with the recruitment of and design and deliver training for student representatives.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students and championing their voices and the issues that they care about. They will have strong organisation and communication skills and be confident delivering training sessions to groups of students and be able to build positive relationships with them. They will also be quick and willing to learn new ways of working and adaptable to changing priorities. Experience and understanding of democratic processes and a student-led approach is desirable but not required.

This post is a permanent position working part time (0.8FTE) 28 hours a week. A flexible approach to working is required. As an organisation we have an agile working programme. The successful candidate will be required to work on campus a minimum of 2 days a week during term time. This will be discussed and agreed with the line manager.
