About the event
Our next walk occurring on Saturday 27th. We will be walking 9 miles from Perranwell to Redruth, passing under an impressive viaduct, exploring a quarry, and of course, admiring Gwennap pit, the unique amphitheatre of Cornwall! We will also spend time exploring 'Cornish Mars', an otherworldly derelict landscape, once named one of the richest copper mining districts in the world!
We will aim to get the 09:18am train from Falmouth Town (or 09:28am from Penryn train station) and get off at Perranwell. We will then aim to get the train from Redruth back to Penryn/Falmouth. I'd advise you to buy an open return ticket to Redruth.
And again, don't forget your lunch, water, and waterproofs... You never know what Cornwall could throw at us!
It was an amazing turnout today, and we hope to see many of you again next saturday!
As always, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
