About the event

Join EcoSoc for a walk to College Reservoir at dusk looking for bats! We'll be using bat detectors to pick up the bat's echolocation calls, learning about the different species we have in Cornwall, and enjoying watching our furry, flying nocturnal friends.

College Reservoir has some great bat species, including Daubenton's skimming over the lake and Nathusius's Pipistrelles.

We will be meeting outside the front of the Exchange (by the revolving doors) at 7:15pm.

Please bring a torch and sturdy shoes if you have them!

As places are limited, please get a free ticket to reserve your spot. We will be running another bat walk this week at on campus too. To ensure everyone gets a chance to come along, please only reserve a ticket for one of the bat walks this week.
