Tuesday 16 September 2025
Date
3pm - 4:30pm
Time
AMATA Pond (meeting on the grass out at the bottom of the AMATA building)
Location
Using nets and trays to find and observe the aquatic wildlife found in our ponds on campus. We may find amphibians such as newts, insect larvae, and many more freshwater invertebrates. Due to limited space around the pond, this event requires you to book a free ticket to reserve your place. All equipment will be provided. It would be useful to bring sturdy footwear (though we will not be stepping in the pond so don't worry if they are not waterproof).
