Time
College Reservoir (Meet in front of Exchange)
Location
Join us for a birdwatching trip to College Reservoir! This reservoir is one of our best local hotspots for spring migrants and summer visitors, with a reliable record of common whitethroat, blackcap and garden warbler as well as a good range of residents such as bullfinch and green woodpecker. Depending on access conditions, we aim to visit the east side for the regular singing garden warbler.
Please meet in front of Exchange at 10:30am. Walking boots are required with wellies being a good option after or during heavy rain as the area is prone to mud and local flooding. There may be local narrow trails with tall, spikey vegetation. We aim to get back at around 13:30, but please bring some snacks and perhaps packed lunch in case we are running late.
