About the event

We will be visiting RSPB Hayle Estuary! Aside from regular birds such as kingfisher and bar tailed godwit, we hope to see migrant waders such as knot, ruff and curlew sandpiper. There are also pectoral sandpipers recorded recently so keep an eye out! We will be meet at Penryn station at 10:45 to take the train scheduled to arrive at Penryn station at 10:59. The terrain is flat but may involve slightly muddy areas so we recommend bringing your walking boots. There are stores and supermarkets at Hayle but we recommend bringing your own lunch.
