About the event

We will be going hands on with equipment and techniques that the Medical School does not teach us. We will be learning how to systematically approach and treat a patient prehospitally. This will include learning:

How to rapidly assess a situation
Quickly assess casualties
Effectively stop major bleeding
Injuries resulting from major trauma
How to cope with limited resources
How to manage common emergencies

This is useful for any Medical Student of Healthcare Profesisonal as you will be incorporating an A-E assessement in all your practice.
