About the event

Pick up a pen and join award winning fiction writer Jo Cole as she shares tips on how we can use words to travel, explore and feel better whilst in lockdown.

Lockdown is challenging for us all, particularly the need to stay at our home as much as possible to help protect ourselves and others. But did you know that your pen (or laptop, or pencil) could help you travel the world, go back in time or step into the future - without ever setting foot outside your own front door? It can also help you work through your feelings, or improve your focus and the good news is that you don’t need any special skills, or expensive gadgets.

Former journalist, current Student Communications Manager and fiction writer, Jo Cole, shares ideas of ways in which your pen can be your friend.
