a) Have at least 25 likes, and 25 more likes than dislikes within 6 weeks of posting in order to be added to the SU Student Council agenda, otherwise it will be rejected.

The SU Student Council can vote to:

  • Allocate the task to one or more council members to take responsibility for it
  • Reject the idea
  • Request more information or more evidence of support

c) If the issue is considered a liberation Issue by the Elections & Democracy Committee, it should instead pass to the Liberation Committee to be voted on.

Move Accessibility Services to a more accessible location!

    Current
Accessibility services on the Penryn campus are currently situated in Tremough House which is arguably the most inaccessible building on campus and is a listed building meaning that the issues are not easily fixed! Disabled students are either struggling with or all together avoiding going to Accessibility Services. This is a huge shame as the accessibility team are AMAZING at helping students when they do get to them!

2:27pm on 9 Dec 19 Hi all, Just an update to this item. It was brought to Student Council at their October meeting and it was recommended that it be discussed between members of the Liberation Committee first. When the proposal is finalized it will be brought back to the Student Council for further deliberation.
