Hey, I’m Jadelle, your President Falmouth!
I’m back for my second term, and I’m buzzing to be a voice our amazing student community again this year.
Originally from the West Midlands, I moved to Cornwall back in 2020 to start my undergrad in Popular Music (so yeah, I think I can call myself a local now). I stuck around after that to do my Master’s in Music Business, so after five years here, I know the ups, the downs, and everything in between when it comes to student life.
When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at the beach or at Pendennis Point, my favourite places to unwind. I’m also big on grabbing a coffee (iced caramel latte is my go-to), hanging out with mates, or catching up on some much-needed sleep.
Having started uni just as the cost of living crisis kicked off, I know how tough it can be. That’s why I’m all about making student life more affordable and accessible; like pushing for cheaper food on campus, more affordable parking, better financial transparency and cheaper printing. Basically, making things a little easier, so you can focus on the good stuff.
I’m always around if you’ve got ideas, questions, or just fancy a chat, come say hey!
