The SU
The Students' Union will be taking a break from 5pm Thursday 14 December 2023 to 9am Monday 8 January 2024 - we look forward to welcoming you back in the New Year!

Campus Closures
The University of Exeter (Cornwall) also have a Christmas and New Year hub with tonnes of info on what facilities, services and events are available within the University.

FX Plus Student Services is the best place to find support and wellbeing services over the Christmas break. Check out their 'I Need Help?' and I Need Help Right Now? directory which contains links to immediate support for medical and health concerns, mental health emergencies as well as resources to helplines such as Papyrus, Shout and Samaritans.
Remember, FX Plus offer 24/7 support on campus and they are only a phone call away.

Staying in Cornwall for Christmas
If you are staying in University halls for Christmas, the Accomodation team at FX Plus are asking that you let them know through email (accommodation@fxplus.ac.uk) or by dropping them a line (01326 253639).
Academic Support Available
There are a range of academic support services that will be available to you as detailed here:
ASK
The ASK team of teachers and advisors support student learning at Falmouth University and the University of Exeter (Cornwall Campuses).
They:
- run workshops on writing, referencing and study skills
- provide study guides and learning resources
- offer individual advice through one-to-one appointments
Study Hub
The Study Hub is a centralised site where you can find lots of academic support and guides. There is also help available to improve your digital skills and a dedicated Accessibility and Inclusive Learning team who support and advise students with disabilities, health conditions and Specific Learning Differences (dyslexia, dyspraxia and ADHD).
