The SU Swimming club is for Falmouth and Exeter students to come and have a swim in a relaxed environment.

Welcome to the Falmouth and Exeter Students' Union Swimming Club! This society is for anyone who loves Swimming, whether you're a competitive swimmer or swim for your general fitness and wellbeing, there's a space for you! All abilities are welcome, but we ask that you have a basic knowledge of the strokes and can swim a minimum of 200m to take part in our training sessions (8 lengths of a 25m pool).

Location: Carn Brea Leisure Centre (TR15 3QS - around 30min drive)

Time:

9-10 pm Monday for Competitive Swimmers

9-10 pm Tuesday for Recreational swimmers/skills session

9-10 pm Thursday mixed of everyone

Taster Sessions:

Our taster sessions will be on the 22nd, 23rd, and 25th!! So come alone to your preferred session and get to know the committee and how the society runs!!

Prices:

Standard membership: £100

Will have to purchase tickets for the sessions, but they will be free.

Tickets are put out every Monday. There is a separate ticket for drivers.

Competition Team: The society also welcomes members to join the SU's Swimming Competition Team. All abilities are welcome to participate in this.

Find us on Instagram: We have an Instagram page that you can join. We post updates and will find information about tickets and swim sessions.

Car Share: Our car share goes from both Penryn campus and for people living in Falmouth, at the top of Killigrew by the bus stop. Meet at these places around 8:10-8:15 so we can get to the pool on time. We do ask that anyone who can drive to please make it known so that we can organise the car share properly and make sure there is the required number of drivers for sessions. Thank you so much!

Our regular training sessions are ticketed due to the limited capacity of the pool, so make sure to follow the Instagram page, where more information can be found.
