CSM SEG

The 𝐂𝐒𝐌 𝐒𝐄𝐆, or '𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬, 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐆𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐬 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫', is a community of people interested in mining, minerals, and economic geology.

We are open and inclusive of all students and endeavour to create and foster an academically-focused community for students at Camborne School of Mines.

Throughout the year we will host free, weekly sessions (every Friday between 5pm and 7pm) where students can fraternise and seek advice pertaining to careers and geology-related topics, alongside providing a series of seminars from both lecturers and guest speakers that will inspire people to learn more about the world of economic geology.

We also aim to organise a number of field trips to connect with the fantastic geology that Cornwall and the UK has to offer.
