Daniel Rowson, Vice President of The Falmouth and Exeter Politics Society: “We have strived, in the last four months, to increase political participation and bring people together from all parts of the political spectrum. The General Election announcement gave us a brilliant opportunity to be able to achieve these objectives in a far greater capacity than without one.
We have gathered candidates for Camborne & Redruth and Truro & Falmouth constituencies’ for MP. We are bringing the candidates from each constituency together in two hustings events on our campuses. These two events will be a brilliant showcase of our initiative to bring people together around politics and become more informed as a community about our options to have the most representative candidates elected to Parliament.
“All are welcome, from non-members of the student body to members of the public. The more people that engage with this event the better it will be for the quality of discourse that occurs. We look forward to seeing you soon!”
