At the meeting, your course reps will share feedback with SU, university and FX Plus staff on your university experience. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of it! The Big Rep Meeting 2025 is on Wednesday 26 November, registration will start at 1.45pm and the event will finish with pizza at 5pm!

I'm a Rep - What can I expect from the Big Rep Meeting? 

The Big Rep Meeting is a chance for reps to discuss students' feedback on wider university services directly with the staff who can make those changes. 

The topics listed below will be split into separate tables, which will be attended by reps from both Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.

The topics this year are:

Part-time Jobs

• Do you know where and how to look for paid opportunities on campus and in the local area?

Buses

• How has the Cornwall bus service impacted your studies?

Study Spaces

• What do you want your study spaces on campus to look like?

Community on Campus

• How can we help students create safe spaces for discussion and finding community on campus?

SU Leadership Elections

• What would make you vote for a candidate in the SU leadership election? (This is the election that decides who your Falmouth/Exeter President and Vice President will be next year!)

Falmouth University only

Personal Tutoring

• How do your personal tutors support you and signpost you to services?

University of Exeter only

Placements and Internships

• What are the barriers to students accessing placements and/or internship opportunities within their studies?

How do I get involved?

If you're a rep: be sure to collect feedback from your course mates on these topics before attending! Check your emails for the specific time and location of the meeting and how to RSVP. 

If you're a student: check with your rep(s) whether they are able to attend the meeting and pass on your feedback.
