Ever wanted to…… Scale your way to the top of Kilimanjaro? Climb to the Epic of Everest Base Camp? volunteer with African communities and trek to see wild gorillas? Cycle London to Paris or run a marathon in a European in the Olympic capital of Athens?

This summer FXU RAD are recruiting a select team of challenge leaders to undertake these challenges, and also recruit and lead a team of fundraising volunteers to get involved.

Why become a challenge leader? :

  • Reduced fundraising total! Depending on how many people you recruit to your challenge your fundraising target may be significantly.
  • Stand out from the crowd! A fantastic experience to add to your CV, with marketing, recruitment, volunteer management, organisation and team building skills that you will gain. Sign up in good time and you will also get to attend challenge leader training day with chosen challenge/charity and other challenge leaders from around the country.
  • Challenge of a Lifetime! Being a challenge leader isn’t all about leading your team – you’ll also be taking on the challenge yourself. An incredible experience that you will never forget!
  • Meet some incredible people! You will be recruiting a team of 10-20 students and alongside that working with RAD Committee and other RAG teams from across the Southwest.

If you are highly a motivated, team player and think that you have what it takes to lead a team of fundraisers, then maybe this is the activity for you!

Fundraising experience is definitely an advantage but not essential and you will receive training and help from your charity and FXU RAD.

FXU RAD will support you to find the right challenge for you.

If you are interested please email Volunteeringandrad@fxu.org.uk with 200 words about why you would make a great challenge leader, and specify if you would like to lead a Trek, marathon, or the London to Paris bike ride by Friday 1st July.
