About this role
This role is an exciting opportunity to join our Communities team, empowering and supporting students to set up societies and manage student led events, projects, fundraising and volunteering opportunities.
As the activities coordinator you will be responsible for building student community, equipping students with the appropriate skills and knowledge to set up and implement inspiring activities that connect students with people like them.
The ideal candidate will be organised, a great communicator, and a champion in promoting equality, diversity and inclusivity in student leadership and student groups. You will need to be confident in engaging with various stakeholders including students, staff, Falmouth University, University of Exeter and the local community to ensure that student activity is delivered safely and in an engaging way.
This post is a permanent position working full time 35 hours per week. A flexible approach to working hours is required. As an organisation we do have an agile working programme. For this role the successful candidate will be required to work on campus a minimum of 4 days a week during term time. This will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate.

You will be employed directly by The SU. We are a membership-led charity; run by students, for students. We represent students from two different universities: Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.
