About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to run our Student Voice Team, focusing on supporting our student representatives across academic and political agendas. You will work with a variety of stakeholders to support student-led democracy, academic work and campaigning. As an organisation we are going through an incredible journey, and this is an incredible opportunity to join us at a key stage of our development.

You will take a lead role in organising key projects and campaigns, ensuring work is prioritise in line with organisational priorities, and will be the lead contact for all things democracy and student-voice related.

You will be employed directly by The SU. We are a membership-led charity; run by students, for students. We represent students from two different universities: Falmouth University and the University of Exeter.

The ideal candidate for this role would have a clear understanding of student democracy and politics, be able to work across multiple projects and able to manage all aspects across the varied Student Voice team. You will need to be confident engaging multiple stakeholders including students, staff, Trustees, Falmouth University and the University of Exeter, external stakeholders, and the local community. You will also need to be able to consider best practice and innovation with regards to democracy, campaigns and engaging student leaders in academic representation.
