About the event
Come join in the fun at Falmouth Student Kayak Club's Beach Bonanza!
We're bringing our kayaks to Gylly beach so you can give paddling a go!
Drop in any time between 10am and 5pm, you'll spot us by our pile of kayaks.
If you want to hop on the water for a paddle, check out our handy list below for what we recommend wearing/bringing!
We'll run paddles on a rolling basis as demand requires. When you're on the water we'll play games and learn fun skills like rolling!
If you don't fancy a paddle today, please still come by to say "Hi"! We'd love to meet you and have a chat!
Keep an eye on our instagram account on the day for updates about where on the beach we are, and what we're up to! @falskc

If you want to get on the water, please bring:
- Something to wear in the water eg: wetsuit, or joggers/shorts/leggings (you'll get wet!)
- Closed toe footwear to wear in the boat eg: watershoes, old trainers. These are compulsory and will get wet.
- A nice warm change of clothes!
- Towel
If you own any of your own kit already, feel free to bring that along too!
The SU now requires that all members of water-based clubs/societies pass a swim test. This will be carried out during this session if you choose to paddle on this day.
If you have any questions please DM us on Instagram, or email as1213@exeter.ac.uk
If you have any questions about accessibility, or want to chat to us about how we can make this session more accessible to you, please email as1213@exeter.ac.uk to speak to Aisha privately. We want everyone to be able to participate and enjoy kayaking!
