What to expect:
A 30minute breathwork session to learn how you can use the breath as a powerful tool to help relax and release tension in the mind & body, and nurture a deeper state of calm and clarity.
In this class, we’ll be working with a clearing breath exercise and a breath counting technique.
This is an open to all level, low intensity class:
Whether you’re completely new to breathwork or have practised yoga and meditation before in which the breath is a primary focus, this class is for you.
Preparation:
A quiet space in which you’ll be undisturbed, and a comfortable seat; cushion, rolled up blanket, yoga mat, or chair. That’s it!
You’ll be invited to remain seated for the duration of the practise if this is physically accessible to you, and if not lying down is absolutely fine too.

Breathwork is a term used to describe the practise of various breath awareness and conscious breathing techniques as a way to affect ones physical, mental and emotional state of being.
It has become a growingly more recognised and popular in recent years by being brought into the spotlight by people such as Wim Hoff and James Nestor the author of ‘Breath: The New Science of a lost art.’

About the instructor:
Ivana is a breathwork coach based in West Cornwall. She also works in design, and has worked in scuba diving in Australia and teaching yoga in Sri Lanka. All of which guide her curiosity and passion toward exploring the empowering potential of breath.
In her personal life, Ivana has used breathwork to support her through states of anxiety and depression, and through minor and acute physical injuries. She considers herself as a forever student and has a daily practise of breathwork to help her maintain a deeper connection body and mind.
Ivana’s teachings are centred on sharing simple, accessible and effective breathing techniques with others to help them learn how to use the breath as a tool to reduce feelings of stress, cultivate focus and clarity in mind, and energise both the body and mind. A tool that is always available to us.
