Join us to find cirl buntings on Roseland peninsula! Cirl buntings are charming yellow birds that are only found in parts of Devon and Cornwall in UK. They were once widespread but are now among the rarest regular breeding birds in UK. Roseland has a 'small but thriving' reintroduced population, which we hope to see on this day. Aside from cirl buntings, songbirds such as linnets and waders such as oystercatchers are expected. Roseland is quite beautiful in terms of scenery as well.
Walking boots and bringing lunch are recommended, though there is a cafe which sells pasties near the pier. Ticket includes a return cruise ticket across the river. Please bring your student card if you have one.
Please note that seeing cirl buntings can be dependent of good weather conditions.
