Open Drop-In to talk with our advisors!

Come along to The SU's Free Open Drop-In at the Penryn Campus SU Space for an afternoon where we can help you to unravel problems and answer questions. The SU Advice Team, including Jo B and  Jo R will be on hand to provide advice, support and a safe space to relax whilst we guide you through the world of being a student. There will be the chance to grab a hot drink and a biscuit and destress with some mindful colouring. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team. 


What to Expect:

  • Activities: Engage mindful colouring, while enjoying tea, coffee, hot chocolate, and biscuits.
  • Atmosphere: This is a calm event designed for a maximum of 5 students at a time. There will be bright lights and some gentle movement as students come and go throughout the afternoon.
  • Support: Jo B and Jo R from the SU Advice Team will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

  • Where: Penryn Campus SU Space, just up the hill from the Stannery.
  • Directions: Please see the Google Maps directions to The SU Space.
  • Watch our Penryn Campus tour to help figure out how to navigate your way to the venue.

  • Venue Access:
    • There is disabled access to the Penryn SU Space, with both disabled and regular toilet facilities nearby.
  • Quiet Space: If you need a break from the event, the nearest quiet space is the Multifaith Chaplaincy or the Library Retreat Room.
  • Assistance: If you have any issues or need support, please reach out to a member of staff or email the SU Advice Team at advice@thesu.org.uk.

  • There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken. 
  • This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.
  • If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
