Safe Sex and Sexual Health Pop Up with The Eddystone Trust

The Eddystone Trust will be on campus to explain what the charity do, share simple advice on safe sex and sexual health, and give out free sexual health supplies—come along to learn more, ask questions, and pick up some handy freebies.

About the event

The Eddystone Trust will be on Social Street from 1pm–4pm. They will talk about safe sex, sexual health, and what support they offer. They will also give out free sexual health supplies. The event is run by Karrah from The Eddystone Trust. You can find more information about the charity by visiting their website.

Testing and private advice:
  • Sexual health testing and private advice will be provided by The Eddystone Trust and will be available in The SU.
  • You can ask about this on the day, or book in advance by emailing karrah.bridgestodd@eddystone.org.uk.
What to expect:
  • This is a relaxed drop-in event. You can arrive anytime between 1pm and 4pm.
  • You can drop by and chat to Karrah and her colleague as long as you like and leave at any time.
  • You can chat, ask questions, or just listen.
  • Social Street may be busy and sometimes noisy, with people moving around.
  • A quiet, private room is available in The SU if you need it where we also have sensory bags to borrow. 
Accessibility:
  • Social Street and The SU are wheelchair accessible.
  • Disabled toilets are available near both spaces.
Support available:
  • Jo R and Katie from the SU Advice Team will be in The SU during the event.
  • You can talk to them if you have questions about the event or feel unsure.

  • You can ask for a buddy to help you come to the event by emailing info@thesu.org.uk.
  • Support may include someone meeting you before the event or explaining what will happen.
  • The SU team wants to help you feel comfortable attending so please get in touch with what you need.

  • The event is at Social Street and The SU space, Penryn Campus.
  • Both are in the centre of campus.
  • Social Street is opposite the shop with revolving doors.
  • The SU space is up the hill from the Stannary.
