Ready to Make Your Mark? Come and join The SU to chat about all things Elections, spin the wheel and win some prizes!

What is the key accessibility information?

There's likely to be some loud noise due to the area but there will be spaces to take a break.

• There may be some crowds.
• There are two entrances to the venue. The entrance next to the exchange building and opposite the shop does not have steps. The entrance situated opposite the SU does have a few small steps. 
• The nearest disabled toilet is in the Lower Stannary.
• The nearest quiet space would be The SU, library retreat room or the multifaith chaplaincy
• If you have a problem, please speak to a member of staff.

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by Elishia from The SU. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at the Lower Stannary at Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by taking the steps up from the train station, walking towards the lodge and continuing up the hill, past the shop and into the ground floor of the stannary via the automatic door.

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union.
