Celebrate LGBTQ+ History Month at our Events Pop-Up! 
Pop by to learn about our upcoming events, queer history, meet new people, and spin the prize wheel for fun freebies—everything from gay laces to fancy soaps. Come for the info, stay for the vibes! 🌈

• There is disabled access to the Penryn SU Space, with both disabled and regular toilet facilities nearby. 

• There will be quiet area(s) in The SU, The Upper  Stannary, outside seating areas and other spaces on campus should you need them.

Who is running the event?

 Avery Bailey one of your student presidents will be available to answer any questions or concerns you may have. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

• Where: Falmouth Campus Social Street, Inside the fox building opposite the career zone. Directly down the steps from the library.

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
