About the event

Welcome back to campus! To celebrate you're return, we've got some local businesses visiting campus to give out freebies and showcase upcoming opportunities to make the most of your student experience.

What is the key accessibility information?

• If busy, the Upper Stannary can get loud and crowded.
• There are steps between the lower and upper stannary. There is also a lift.
• The nearest disabled toilet is on the same level as the event, in the stairwell that accesses the Upper Stannary.
• If you have a problem, please speak to a member of The SU team.

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by Kayleigh Hardy from The SU. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at the Upper Stannary at Penryn Campus. The building is in the middle of the campus, next door to the library building (called The Exchange).

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be four to six stalls spaced out with people talking and giving our free things. They may ask you to buy items or donate to their charity.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There may be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Library Retreat Room.
