If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. What should I expect?
At Forum, you can expect:
- Bright but comfortable lighting — clear enough to see and read, but not harsh.
- Movement in the space as students arrive, leave, or take part in different discussions.
- Light debate and discussion facilitated by the Forum Facilitators, with a relaxed and respectful tone.
- A calm atmosphere — if the space gets busy, we’ll manage numbers to keep it comfortable.
- Friendly SU staff and officers on hand to answer questions and offer support.
- Photography and filming may take place — just let us know if you’d prefer not to be included.
For Falmouth University and University of Exeter Cornwall Campus students only.
Quiet space available — if you need a break, please ask about the nearest quiet space. Once the location is determined we will update the closest quiet spaces available to you and there will also be a dedicated room nearby which we can direct you to should you need to leave for a break or a momnet to yourself.
