About the event

Welcome fayre tours! - Nervous about going to the Welcome fayre alone? Join us on a tour of everything from Societies to to where you can find advice. We will have a small group explore the welcome fayre. 

Tours will be running on these times: 

Tour 1 - 11am 

Tour 2 - 12pm 

Tour 3 - 1pm 

Tour 4 - 2pm 

Please meet outside the SU by the SU logo on the wall. 

What is the key accessibility information?

• Loud noise
• Crowds
• Small spaces
• Are there steps in to, out of or around the venue? There will be steps but also accessible routes 
• Is there a quiet space? Where is it?  The nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room
• If I have a problem, what should I do? Alert a member of the SU 

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by SU Crew from The SU. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
