What is the key accessibility information?

There may be lots of loud noise and crowds within this event - it is a large space so there will be room but it may feel busy. There are steps into some entrances but there are also accesible entrances directly to The Lower Stannary and no steps whilst inside. The nearest disabled toilet is in the lower stannary before the doors to the bar.

The nearest quiet space is The SU.

Who is running the event?

This event is being run by Charlie from The SU. Our Meet the Team page includes information about every member of The SU team.

If you need a buddy to support you with arriving at the event, please email The SU on info@thesu.org.uk and we will work out what we can arrange to help. This might be someone meeting you before the event start time or simply talking you through more details of what to expect. We want to help you access our events so let us know what you need.

Where is the event taking place?

The event is taking place at The Lower Stannary at Penryn Campus. This is in the centre of the campus and is best accessed by taking the steps up from the train station, walking towards the lodge up the hill and through the doors by the Stannary Bar (opposite the shop) or walking from the bus stops towards the shop and The Stannary is on the right hand side.

Watch our Penryn Campus tour video to help figure out how to navigate your way to the venue.

What should I expect?

At this event, there will be bright lights and lots of people moving around. We have plans in place for if the space becomes too busy.

There will be a member of staff present to support the event and answer your questions. There will be photography and videography at this event that will be used for SU marketing, please speak to the member of staff if you don’t want your photo taken.

This event is only for students of Falmouth University and the University of Exeter Cornwall Campus.

If you need a quiet space to get away from the event, the nearest space would be the Students’ Union, Multifaith Chaplaincy, Library Retreat Room.
