The Abramovic Method Society

The Abramović Method Society, practices made to slow process down and create new experiences for unfiltered expression.

Focused on the performance artist, Marina Abramović; we perform collaborative exercises made to slow processes down and create moments of meditation and mindfulness as well as exploring the way in which we do things day-to-day.

Using her Method cards we will take part in exercises such as "Complain to a tree", "Swim in a freezing body of water" and "Explore a space without use of sight or sound". These experiences will challenge our routines and help us explore what it means to be a human in this world.

As well as these excursions, we have themed socials, screenings, guest speakers and trip opportunities - all relating to performance art, meditation and slowing down.

ANY student can join, no need for any prior knowledge of Marina Abramović. An interest in collaborative mindful exploration is all you need!
