SU Tap Jam is a fun and friendly society, providing tap classes for all abilities. During the sessions we work on technique and routines, as well as creating chilled environment to jam together.

Ready to get Tapping!

Welcome to Falmouth & Exeter's very own tap dancing society! Join this fun and exciting tap dancing society which is available for all experience levels.

Friday lessons are taught by our amazing teacher Jacqui who will help you develop your tapping ability, whether you are a complete beginner or a seasoned pro!

In the second term, you will work toward performing in the annual dance showcase with all the other performance societies which is a highlight of the year!

Performance team lessons on Tuesdays will be taught by our President Lauren. In the first term, you will work towards learning the 'Tapathon' routine which is a charity dance event for Children in Need.

In the second term, you will work towards learning and performing in a national dance competition as well as the annual dance showcase.

Lessons take place in studio E, AMATA building on Penryn Campus. All infomation will be posted on our instagram page including info about our two taster sessions during freshers week!

These lessons require regular attendance and commitment to put together an amazing routine ready to compete.

But throughout it all, the main aim is to have fun dancing!

Beginners: 18:00 - 18:45

(Beginners/ Improvers)

Intermediate/ Advanced: 18:45 - 19:30

(ISTD Intermediate and Free Work/ Grade 4 and above)

Advanced One 19:30 - 20:00

(Hard and fast. Extra tapping for those who want it. Focuses on the ISTD Advanced One syllabus)
