Employability & Enterprise Fund
FXU has been awarded a pot of money from Exeter TEF funding to support the development of student-led enterprise and employability focussed activity. We have established a project fund application process for individuals, SSLC reps and/or Academic Societies to apply through in order to access the funding. We are really encouraging SSLCs and Societies to team up in applying so this benefits as many as students as possible however this does need to be used this academic year.

Qualifications Kitty - Funding Scheme for Specialist Training
This fund is to support students looking to undertake essential training that will enable their FXU Activity Group to operate safely or at a higher level. This fund is predominately aimed at (but not limited to) committee members of FXU Activity Groups, who are committed to that group and can demonstrate their ability to ‘pay it back’ in volunteer hours within that academic year or beyond.
Courses may include, but are not limited to: Accessibility, Coaching Courses, Officiating courses, Media Training, Health & Safety (above basic level) and Safeguarding Level 2. Students can request up to £500 to fully or part-fund the training requested.
This fund is currently closed to applications.
External Funding (Sports)
Cornwall Sports Partnership
Another option for funding is crowdfunding through FXU’s crowdfunding platform.
In the past, societies and clubs have raised funds for putting on a musical and getting equipment for a sports team. Alternatively, crowdfunding can be used for funding club/society kit and gear, funding events and any student led project affiliated with an FXU Activity Group.
