The Student Opportunities Team
The Students' Union Activities Team is student-facing and here to support you with your clubs, societies, volunteering groups, fundraising ideas and green projects. Each member of staff specialises in a different department so that you get the assistance you need. There’s always someone in the office, so if you’ve got a query, pop in for a chat.
President Student Experience
Sarah was voted in as your President Student Experience in 2018 and her job is to be the voice of student opportunities, sustainability and facilities. She liaises with the SU staff, the two universities and students across both campuses to ensure student opportunities is accessible by everyone and maximise your experience. She also organises and runs various events throughout the year and fulfils her manifesto.
Hayley is the Student Opportunities Director and oversees the Student Opportunities Team and is part of The SU’s senior management team working closely with the Presidents. Hayley is Cornish born and bred and will ensure everyone eats their cream tea the right way (jam first)!
