Wild Doc Soc

Hello from Wild Doc Soc! We offer fantastic opportunities for anyone interested in wildlife media.

Do you love wildlife media? Are you the next David Attenborough? Want to be inspired by some of the best names in the industry? Then Wild Doc Soc is the society for you!

We regularly have visits from world class professionals from across the industry such as Steve Backshall, George McGavin, Nick Baker and Gordon Buchanan! Whether you have experience or not, there's something for everyone - from film nights and socials to wildlife cruises and photography workshops - and membership is only £5!

Our fortnightly film nights run on Tuesdays at 6pm and will be going virtual this year along with our guest speakers. However, we hope our practical photography workshops will still let you explore the wonderful wildlife on your doorstep!

You can also get involved with NatureWatch (our joint venture with EcoSoc), as well as our annual photography and film competition Wild Film Fest.
