The Sea Swimming Club meets every Sunday at 1pm on Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth, to go for a swim. The health benefits of sea swimming are numerous, but the greatest claim by members is its ability to cure any hangover! All abilities are welcome – if you just fancy a dip in the shallows or want a more intense swim then this club is for you! We have also recently got rid of our no wetsuit rule! We swim all year round but it’s made up for in the colder months with a hot chocolate or a pint after our swim to warm up. If that wasn’t enough, at the end of the year, we go on tour either in Cornwall or North Devon!
CORONA VIRUS UPDATE: Due to the latest 6 person limit in place, it is proving hard to organise sessions as usual in a safe and enjoyable way. For that reason, we are holding off organising our usual Sunday meet ups until the circumstances improve and we can provide what we feel to be fun yet safe swims. We are aiming to organise something as soon as this is possible. Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions or let us know if there was an online event you may want us to organise in the mean time! Cant wait to see you all for a swim, hopefully not too long from now!
