CSM Men's Rugby is open to all studying in Falmouth or Penryn - Exeter students, Falmouth students and those studying with CSM. We train twice a week and play most weekends.

CSM Men's Rugby is open all studying in Falmouth or Penryn - Exeter students, Falmouth students and those studying with CSM. We welcome all abilities and age groups to our training sessions that we hold twice a week. The training facilties are a walk away from halls and are situated in Penryn - each session is 1.5 hrs and we prepare for a game on Saturdays. Last season we played in Cornwall 1 division and where we came second overall, and were invited to play in the Cornwall Cup during the second half of the season where we reached the semifinal. Our season culminates in our annual varsity game against the Royal School of Mining in The Bottle Match. Having retained the bottle in the last 3 playable season's, the next fixture will be in Cornwall where we hope to retain it once again. We generate vast crowds for this event as it is one of the oldest varsity matches in the country with old students flying back from across the globe to bear witness to the game.

Off the pitch we also run a social a week, usually after the game on Saturday. These are often themed and give a great chance to get closer with the rest of the team, this allows us to build a family like bond (as was created this past season) which means we play better on the pitch. While these socials are not mandatory we encourage all players to attend as no matter the result of the game the whole club can enjoy the social and get to know each other better.
