A message from the IT Helpdesk
We are aware that a number of staff & students have received “phishing” emails since their return to campus. A phishing email is designed to trick the recipient into supplying personal information (such as username/password) to a 3rd party so that they may exploit that information. Whilst we do everything in our power to prevent these emails coming onto to campus (over 1 million spam emails blocked every month) we still require users to be vigilant on any unexpected emails they receive which try to make them click on a link or ask for personal details.

To avoid this problem, you are advised to verify your email account by clicking on the link below. Please click the link Below To Validate Your Mailbox And Increase Your Quota.
MAIL-GATEWAY
Failure to do this will have your account deactivated to avoid unauthorised usage.
