Help determine the future of Falmouth

Falmouth Town Council is encouraging all residents to inform the development of its Neighbourhood Plan by completing this survey.

Falmouth Town Council is encouraging all residents to inform the development of its Neighbourhood Plan by completing this survey. There is also a drop-in session at The Watersports Centre in Falmouth tomorrow (Wednesday 29 April) between 10am and 7.30pm if you would like to find out more.

It is very important that all Falmouth residents contribute to this process as your views will determine what Falmouth will look like in 15 years' time and whether Falmouth Town Council pursues an Article 4 Direction for the town. An Article 4 Direction is a form of planning law that could give Cornwall Council the power to control changes of use to properties that would otherwise not require planning permission. It could be used to restrict the numbers of houses that are changed from family accommodation into houses of multiple occupation, such as those that are typically shared by students, graduates and other young professionals.

The survey only takes a few minutes to complete.

Thank you.
