Cornwall Wildlife Trust and the University of Exeter would like to invite you to our annual Marine Recorders Evening taking place on Thursday 25th November 2021.

The aim of the event is to bring together our county’s marine recorders and citizen scientists, to share the results of our 2020 - 2021 marine survey work from Seaquest to Shoresearch, and also present key speakers to highlight recent research happening in Cornwall.
Speakers include;
• Dr Chris Laing - Seagrass in the Fal and Helford SAC: Blue carbon stocks and threats to its persistence
• Clare Owen and Cheryl Yarham - Seaquest: A year of extraordinary oceanic visitors.
• Dr Martin Stevens - Life in the Shallows
• Matt Slater - Seasearch: Seagrass, snorkels, seals and spider crabs
This year the event is being supported and hosted by the Centre for Ecology and Conservation at the University of Exeter and set to be a superb evening.
The event is taking place in person, however there is an option to join online - please choose the correct ticket choice via the Eventbrite booking form. Booking for the conference is essential due to restricted space.
A final programme will be sent to all attendees booked on by Wednesday 24th November 5pm.
