Make a Difference Days - Truro Campus

Conservation Work - 2pm – 4.30pm

Try your hand at some conservation work near Truro Campus!

Ever fancied learning about conservation, or just like doing stuff outdoors and meeting new people, then join Chris in Coosebean Woodland reserve. Voluntary work may include, wildflower management (seeding, preparing land, extraction of invasive species),  track development, willow weaving, habitat management, helping to build boardwalks, bridges.

Meeting location: Meet Chris Waddle at the playing field at Coosebean Woodland, Cornish crescent, off Malabar road. There is a gateway entrance off Cornish crescent, close to number 60.

To celebrate volunteering week we are launching Make A Difference Days where you get to try something different and make a difference to your local environment or community. If you enjoy it, then you can always arrange with Chris to do more regular volunteering in the reserve. If not, then just wait for the next Make A Difference day to see what opportuntiy we can offer.
