With Chinese New Year quickly approaching, Chinese Lantern Project is coming to Penryn campus to raise awareness of their services and their helpline. ‘This project offers a free telephone helpline service to the Chinese community in the South West region. The aim of this helpline is to identify isolated and hidden members of the community and empower them to better integrate into the wider society and to offer support and referrals through listening attentively with understanding and empathy’.

Chinese Lantern Project is teaming up with Rethink Mental Illness to deliver a workshop for Falmouth and Exeter students about mental health, causes of mental illness and the support available.
