About the event

Join us for a cruise through Falmouth by bike where we'll help you get familiar with the local area, the safest cycling routes, and the electric Beryl Bikes jotted around town!

Led by several confident cyclists from our Sustainability and Students' Union teams, we'll hire our ebikes together from Penryn Campus, and guide you to the beach in Falmouth (and back if there's time!).

Meet us at the Beryl Bike bay outside the Exchange Building on Penryn Campus (find it using What3Words). Bring a helmet if you have one, and please come dressed appropriately for the weather. We will be hiring an electric Beryl Bike for each person - please download their app and create an account in advance if you can, as you'll be able to pedal away even quicker on the day! If you would prefer to bring your own bike to cycle, please do so!

In the event of bad weather, we will cancel and reschedule this event on an alternate date.

A note on accessibility - The electric Beryl Bikes make for a very easy riding experience, and the route that we intend to take from Penryn Campus to Falmouth is predominantly flat or downhill. The journey back is more hilly, and would likely require an average level of fitness. We can help advise attendees on alternate travel options on the day, should people need it.

We may take photographs during this event. If you do not wish do be photographed, please let the photographer or a member of the team know.
