Adopt a Group

At the end of each year, we sometimes have societies or sports clubs without a committee to organise activities and support members. Adopt A Group is an opportunity for you to revive an inactive society or sports group.

What is Adopt a Group?

Unfortunately, at the end of each year, we sometimes have societies or sports clubs without a committee to organise activities and support members.

Without a committee, student groups can't run as they should. Inactive societies need some TLC from someone interested in taking the lead and helping them to develop.

Proposal form will be available once the application window opens. Dates for 2026/27 are below.

Please note the important dates for application openings and deadlines:

All applications will be reviewed after their respective closing date.

Term 1: Applications open Monday 7th September 2026 and close Sunday 4th October 2026.
Term 2: Applications open Monday 21st December 2026 and close Sunday 17th January 2027.
