Scouts & Guides (Kernow SSAGO)

Kernow Student Scout and Guides Organisation (Kernow SSAGO) society is for students who wish to continue with Scouting or Guiding at University and those who have never been a scout or guide before.

We meet mostly on Wednesdays 6-8pm during term time, though this can change depending on the activity and member availability. Our meetings and events are posted on our Instagram page.

As a society, we aim to run something new and exciting each week: from kahoot night to paper crafts, beach barbecues to a monopoly run, we aim to run events that our members are excited to come to (we are always accepting programme requests). We participate in national events with other University Guide and Scout groups throughout the year, as part of our affiliation with SSAGO (Student Scouts and Guide Organisation). Also, we can connect you to a local Scout or Guide unit, if you wish to volunteer locally.

If you are not a student but would like to join, you can purchase an associate membership.
