Some of our sessions follow the Model United Nations (MUN) format, where you are assigned a country to represent on a particular topic.
The Global Politics Society aims to bring people of all walks of life together to debate political issues.
Events last term included: A Climate Emergency, discussion of Indo-Pakistani tensions in Kashmir, pub socials, and coverage of the 2003 Iraq War.
We have a plethora of events planned for the rest of the year. These include an unprecedented political crisis that will need solving over 3 sessions, guest speakers, a formal dinner in one of the finest establishments in Falmouth, and a beach barbecue during the summer months.
